Day 1-2: Srishti & Devotion
Stories of creation, Dhruv, Prahlad and the power of true devotion.
Shrimad Bhagwatam Katha is a sacred seven-day recitation of the Shrimad Bhagavat Purana, which contains the divine leelas and teachings of Lord Vishnu and his avatars, especially Lord Krishna. This is considered one of the most meritorious acts in Hindu tradition. The Bhagwatam Pooja brings divine blessings of Lord Vishnu, destroys accumulated sins, purifies the soul, and guides the devotee on the path of dharma, bhakti, and ultimate liberation (moksha).

About This Pooja
The Shrimad Bhagwatam consists of 12 Skandhas (books), 335 chapters, and 18,000 verses. The seven-day Katha covers the most important stories and teachings including the creation of the universe, the stories of Dhruv, Prahlad, the Sagar Manthan, the life of Lord Krishna from birth to Dwaraka, and the ultimate message of devotion and surrender. During the Katha, experienced Kathavachaks (storytellers) narrate the stories with deep philosophical explanations. Each day concludes with aarti and prasad. The Katha creates an incredibly spiritual atmosphere that transforms the consciousness of everyone present. It is traditionally organized during auspicious occasions, family celebrations, or as a remedy for deep spiritual healing.
